They were back at the castle and Julian was beside himself. "How could I not have heard anything, Luca was only a few feet away from the warehouse" he roared, pacing back and forth and trying his very best not to shift and destroy everything in sight.
"You weren't the only one" Lucian said "I've sent out guards and we'll go searching again once we've rested. Julian you searched high and low, if Ruby hadn't helped me you would have burnt yourself out from sheer exhaustion."
"He needs me Lucian" Julian growled "I promised Luca I would keep him safe and instead I failed him straight away. Who knows what he's going through right now." He pounded his fist into a wall, making a large hole into it but Lucian said nothing. What could he say? If Ruby was missing he'd be feeling the same as Julia
