He'd had blood drawn from him more than once, had heard the vampires growling as they were subdued in that room and had theirs taken as well. The children were withdrawn, exhausted, several more having joined them but across the room in another cage where Marcus could not get to him or comfort them in anyway. Even Sandy was subdued, no longer the child he'd met when he first got here, clearly determining there was no way out, that the one escape he'd managed would not be another option again.
