They were arguing amongst each other in regards to their son, Luna Renae incredulous that Gordon wouldn't step in, that he'd been so cold as to walk away from Marcus who was trapped in that cage being experimented on. Sure she might not have a maternal instinct in her body but he'd grown up and been raised by her, was hers and so had Gordon. How was he able to just walk away like that? Marcus's face when he learnt the truth about his so called father not being his and when they left would forever haunt her and the fact she'd been such a coward that she'd followed her husband and acceded to his wishes. Sure she might not be a perfect mother, hell she'd been a horrible one she acknowledged but some small tiny bit inside of her still loved him even when she didn't show it.
