Julian was very surprised to find some vampires at his castle urgently requiring his assistance. King Lucian had ordered them to bring him to the castle, something very important that he alone needed to hear. He passed by Luca and hesitated. Should he take him with him or let him stay considering Kieran was still very attached to the boy. He wasn't sure of the idea of taking both. What if they accidentally put Kieran in danger bringing him?
"I know you're needed" Luca said quietly "but I've barely seen you lately. Kieran's desperate to spend time with you as well" he said and Julian's heart melted. He had been busy of late and neglectful of both of them, He couldn't fathom being away from Luca even longer.
