Julian looked haggard, eyeing his mate who at least now was just sleeping peacefully instead of the excruciating pain he'd been in when they first got here. He hadn't slept, hadn't been able to force himself to when Luca needed him right now. How could he have not paid better attention to him and those blasted roses? He groaned.
