 Cassius's POV The couch wasn't the most comfortable place to sleep. Being a large male, I spent most of the night sliding off of it. I should have just had Tiffany sleep on it. She was small enough. I had just managed to find a comfortable sleeping position when there was a loud, frantic knock on the door. It was still dark outside, so I was instantly annoyed. I got up with a growl and opened the door to one of my guards. He bowed to me. "I am sorry for the early intrusion, your majesty. But an Alpha Michael Peterson is requesting your presence." "Now?" I snarled out, causing the guard to tremble. "Y-yes," The guard replied. I wiped my hand down my face. "Tell him that my office hours are nine to five unless it is an emergency. Tell him to come back then," I told the guard.
