"My water just broke," I said to my mother as she knelt in front of me. I tried mind linking him, but I was hitting his mental wall. Normally as his mate, I could break through the wall, but I was weakened and having a hard time concentrating on breaking through the mental wall. 'Leonora, I can't get through to Cassius.'
