The next few hours flew by. Gracie, Ally and Claire made plans to bring a little modern into the palace. Computers, new filing systems, equipment for the conference room, laptops, iPads, the works. They were getting enough of them so the region heads could also go electronic. At her meetings with each over the next month she would explain the changes and how they would work. It was a huge undertaking but it needed to be done.
They were scheduled to go to the treasury this afternoon to get the gold they needed. A substantial amount was needed for everything that was on the list. The guardians just sat back bewildered, not understanding half of what we were talking about. Technology had changed so much in the last eighteen years and the guardians were truly behind the times.
