"You know--" Anon pressed her to him, avoiding her eyes, "I never wanted you to suffer as I did."
"But--we will be together," Ada whispered.
"You need to think this over many times. It's irreversible," Anon replied briefly.
"But--" Ada would like to insist, but Anon cut her off.
"Ada, I might not age physically, but I lived in this world for far too long to know that young ones have a relatively different perspective from the older ones," He started.
"While we have something special now, the time might come that you would regret being with me for a very long time," Anon added.
"That's ridiculous!" Ada was stunned by his reasoning. He did say he loved her. What was keeping him from turning her like him? She wondered.
