Chapter 29: Waste Not Sariah “Um, come in,” I said after Sterling abruptly left the room. A plump woman with an extraordinarily tiny waist entered the room. She was wearing a beautiful satin gown in a champagne colour. Her chocolate brown hair was elaborately styled in an up-do with curls and waves piled on top of her head. A matching hat lay atop her bouffant. She had an olive complexion and warm brown eyes. This was undoubtedly Madame Dupont. She had two girls with her who were rolling in racks of gowns and shoes. My eyes widened as I marvelled at the ball gowns.
