Chapter 43: In the Garden of Vines Sariah I watched as Edmund’s hands sprouted fur and his nails elongated into claws. His eyes darkened until they were as black as a raven’s wings. There was a square trap-door in the roof of the elevator that wouldn’t budge, so he used his claws like a knife, following the perimeter of the door until it was loose enough to be pried open.
