The guard led us to the kitchen garden in record time as I had insisted that we move at werewolf speed without shifting. My wolf was chomping at the bit to get out, to come to the surface. He wanted me to relinquish control to him. I didn’t trust myself to retain control of my being if I shifted right about now. My wolf had a special ability. He could use Alpha commands without my input on any werewolf present as long as they were currently in wolf form. He could not hide his commands from me though.
