Adain smiled at the red head as she braided Mia’s wet brown hair. He hadn’t left the girls side since they found out. They had all huddled up in Mia’s room once they found her that morning hiding in her closet. “Okay so go back. Vampires can only have human blood and that’s it.” He nodded his head at Bethany. She wasn’t as scared as Mia was more curious than anything she had a thousand questions. “But what about all the books and shows where they drink animal blood.”
