Danilo's POV
"What is it that I hear about you and your ex-wife?" my father said angrily as he walked through my door. I was in my office and had just gotten off the phone with Owen, telling him that I would be coming over to see him.
"I am not sure what it is you heard," I replied.
"I heard that you were going after that Roberts girl again. How could you after what her father did to us? He ruined me!" my father said with an angry voice.
I can't say that I blame him. My marriage to Lauren was a business deal that went south when she asked for a divorce. I didn't tell my father what happened because I didn't know at the time.
I had always thought that Lauren would walk out on me without a valid reason. Our marriage was not the best, but we were able to live in the same house and sleep
