I don't know what this man's plans were but I knew when he won the bid that I should be prepared for anything, but still, I was surprised to find that he had sent me an entire outfit, down to the shoes and jewelry for the date, he requested that I should wear them.
Since I didn't know where he was taking me, I felt like I had no choice, I didn't want to go somewhere and feel out of place because I didn't wear the dress he sent me, or maybe it was my best friend who convinced me to wear the dress.
I won't lie, I was ready to bolt, to drop everything and go back to New York City, anything to avoid spending time with Danilo, then Summer reminded me that he donated a lot of money and that it was the least I could do.
