Azariah's POV:
As we started to approach the clearing where Claudia was to meet the demon for a deadly fight, my sense of smell picked up the scent of her blood.
"The fight has started!" I hissed in Jovian's direction.
He was about ready to take off in her direction in hopes of protecting her, but I grabbed him by the arm before he could.
"We approach carefully," I told him in a low tone, and he slowly nodded.
I could tell that he was struggling with doing as I had instructed. I didn't use my royal aura on him to force him to obey. I only do that if necessary.
