I couldn't stop pacing the cabin floors. Even though Jovian had told me when he came and got me at the club that he had her at his place, I still couldn't stop myself from worrying. I knew she would be okay with him and I could feel in my body that her strength was already starting to increase. All witches, including black witches who are the ones who have turned to black magics, can feel the strength of the royal if the royal is close enough to them. She's less than ten miles from me which is why I can feel her.
