He’d looked at those two guards that walked them all the way to the Guest House and then escorted them from the city, told them which portal it was, and that it was a half day's walk away, that they would be shifting and running it in wolfen form because that was quicker, and they could cut the time in half.
Those two guards didn’t complain, just stripped and shifted themselves outside the city walls as he and his unit did. He’d told them they’d be of no trouble at all and were willingly going to leave. He had pressing matters to attend to inside his own pack.
He needed now to return to the pack and, in a hurry, Alex had no idea what was going on or that the Wolfen Council was about to turn up inside the pack. It was likely going to be Alpha Austin himself, who Alex would know
