She heard the announcement of Franco being deemed a traitor to this very pack by Lauchlan and felt relief flood through her. It was nearly all over. She looked at David and smiled just a little. “Lauchlan just unseated his father and all the orders on me will fall away soon. He’ll make his father rescind them,” she told him.
“So, you’re an identical twin,” David asked her. He’d been quietly thinking since that news had come out. She’d not asked him what he'd thought, she'd given him time to process the news and think about what it was he wanted. This was where he could reject her and walk away.
“Yes.” She nodded.
