He’d made the request to beseech the king once more, and hadn’t made the mistake of his previous visit. Lining up in that line outside the castle wall the night before, there were already half a dozen wolves out there in front of him, but that was fine. He would get to see the king the next day if all went well.
He was standing in that line with his unit the following day when he and his unit stared at the very large group of the King's Eyes walking down the corridor, and a part of him huffed internally as he watched them. They would all take priority for the king and come before anyone else in this corridor.
