He carried Tyler to the pack hospital and David trailed them. He even heard Tyler ask if her being carried by him, her Mate, was hurting David, and it hurt Lauchlan to hear those softly spoken words come from her. He also knew she was looking at him over his shoulder.
His own Mate was staring at another even though he was the one to carry her to see the doctor.
‘She scented another.’ Theo stated unhappily inside his mind, ‘She’s not our Goddess-Gifted, belongs to someone else.’ His wolf told him with a knowing note, as Lauchlan put her down in the Luna Medica Suite to be tended to.
Lauchlan told their pack doctor what had happened in his father’s office, and the man looked from him to David, a wolf not of this pack, but was now standing there on the other side of Tyler’s bed
