Lauchlan headed off to find and talk to Sonja, his grandmother, and told her he’d stepped Winnie down, along with her own son, and his unit then asked her if she would take up being the pack’s Luna for now. That she would stand alongside himself when he was in the pack, and Alex when he was not there.
She’d kind of just stared at him and nodded slowly after hearing why he was instating her, then asked him, “Where are you going, Lauchlan? That would see Alex need to be in charge.”
“I have to go to the kingdom, to find Tyler’s twin.” He’d told her, “She once lived here, was a pack member for 18 years.” He’d sighed and shaken his head.
“Right.” Sonja had muttered. “I guess from just hearing that, my son not only betrayed you, but the future Luna of this pack.”
