With his mother and father and both their units all having gone to the Eternal Moon pack for Celine’s Luna Ceremony, which involved her being Marked by each one of them in front of the entire pack, and then her Mating by them. It was apparently a week-long celebration. Something about Woodrose and her three other Mates weren’t allowed to just Mark and Mate her on the same night.
Their pack had formalised traditions to be upheld, and for a Luna with multiple Mates, it was about showing her courtesy and respect. On the Full Moon she would be Marked and Mated by only Woodrose and then the following three nights she would be Marked and Mated in rank order by the rest of her Mates. They all had to be patient in the actual claiming of their Mate.
