Ellie’s point of view
I woke up in a car with a lady and a man. She said she’s my mom, and the man said he was an Alpha and my new dad. He’s not my dad and she’s not my Mom. Why is she doing this? I started to scream and kick but she put something over my mouth, and then I couldn't help falling asleep.
When I woke up, I was locked in a bedroom. I don't know where I am. It's morning time now though. How far did they take me? Where am I? Does daddy know where I am? I’m so scared. I don’t know what to do. I look out the window, thinking maybe I could run away, but it's too high. I’ll hurt myself. I’m stuck here. I grab the blanket on the bed, and crawl under the bed, and cry. I miss my dad. I miss Mora and Marley.
