After leaving LaCroix’s penthouse, Eric and I split ways with Gabriel. This gave Eric time to fill me in on the conversation he had with the Vampires Council. Turns out the results of the meeting were part of the reason for his angry mood when he entered LaCroix’s penthouse. The other part was when he heard LaCroix yelling at me. Basically, they noted Eric’s complaint but until we have physical evidence of Katherine slaughtering innocents or trying to kill me not by an act of self-defense the Council won’t do anything other than issue Katherine a verbal warning. When Katherine killed that man outside of Luxe, she cleverly drew him into an alley where there were no cameras to capture her killing. If Eric and I want to get rid of her, we’ll have to play it smarter.
