We both sit on the couch in the living room turned slightly facing each other while we continue eating. A few minutes and a few laughs later, we’ve finished our pie and have placed our empty plates on the coffee table. Bending my arm on the back of the couch, I rest my head against my hand. “Thank you for tonight.”
Eric smiles. “See? It’s not so bad going on a date with a vampire.”
“So, should I expand and go on dates with other vampires too? Just to see how you all compare?”
I’m only teasing, of course, but the serious look Eric gets on his face as he growls, “Like f**k!” Is enough to make me laugh.
After realizing that I was teasing him, Eric leans over towards me and says in a low, seductive tone. “If you were mine, I’d spank you for ever saying such a thing.”
