When Gabriel had told me after returning from his and Elena’s little mission that Ambriella was in town, I can’t say that I wasn’t a little irritated. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ambriella as if she were my own kin but this new ability of hers that has increasingly gotten stronger over the last few years might make it difficult to keep Elena’s situation a secret…and put Ambriella and others in danger of the councils less than pleasant information extraction tactics. Obviously, Ambriella wouldn’t snitch but if the councils even heard a whisper about a rumor of a Watcher turned vampire, things could get ugly really fast. I honestly don’t know how we are going to approach the councils about Elena’s situation. Eventually, people will start to notice that Elena is not aging as a Watcher
