Police show up at the scene of the crime where the men stopped the bus at the border of Paradise Entrance. It was late in the afternoon and the people on the bus were left distressed after what they had witnessed, being majority of locals and tourists from overseas. Police investigate and interview people from the bus and secret security agents of the government come and collect Carla Mendoza before even allowing a chance for investigators to arrive on the scene to interview her and take statements.
Trevor is called to the scene of the crime as he was the head of investigation at the police department of Amare.
