*Selene* The rest of the ride was quiet. Jason worked on some papers, and I spent most of the ride thinking. It was so hard for me to close my eyes and not think about my father. I had so many questions. “We are here,” Jason said, distracting me. I look outside the window. We were in front of a vast concrete wall. “The hunter’s base,” I muttered. “Where did that come from?” Jason asked as he got down. Offering a hand, I take it and get down from the carriage. “That’s what they call it,” I said, chuckling, “or the hunter’s death nest.” “Ok, that doesn’t make sense,” Jason said. “Yes, I know,” I shook my head. “Please follow me.
