We spent the entire day coming and going from the library. Prince Deimos could find important books with every Alpha’s history that I wasn’t even aware of.
“Brother?” Eve calls from the door. I stop writing and look at her.
“Come in,” I said, leaning on my seat. Eve looked nervous for a reason. “Something the matter?”
“Well, not much. I just wanted to talk with you,” Eve answered. I smiled.
Standing from my seat, I offer my hand, which Eve takes happily. We walked towards the coffee table and took a seat. I could feel her nervousness. The beating of her heart and the fumble of her fingers against her dress gave her away.
