“Well, it seems we have work to do now,” Jason said, chuckling.
My eyes shifted to the wolf princess. She looked uncomfortable.
“Let’s all get back to work and keep searching for any solution. My brother will be back soon,” Eve said, standing on leaving the throne room.
I followed her, but Jason stopped me.
“We have to talk, seeker,” Jason ordered. I nodded and did as he asked.
“What is it?” I asked him as I crossed my arms over my chest.
“Are you and Eve mates?” Jason asked.
I sighed and pinched my nose.
A while back, I had a word with Eve to ask her if she also felt the same pull. Which she confirmed. I have to say I was happy because not in a million years did I expect to find my mate.
