This had to be some sick joke. First, Jayce, the f*****g bastard, was still alive? And worst, he was hiding somewhere, but the question is where exactly?
"I need a rest," I said, standing from my seat. "Let's have two days' rest. I know everyone is busy with their stuff, so let's gathered our things and then have a meeting again."
I waved my hand and started taking my leave. I could feel everyone's gaze, but no one said a word.
I sighed and massaged my face as I walked back to the bedroom. My head ached from all the stress I had accumulated. I haven't even had a decent rest after giving birth, and my bloodthirst was acting up.
"Selene?" Eve said as she stood up from the seat. Her eyes are full of worry.
"Why don't you girls go rest? I will take care of Caiden," I smiled. E
