She could hear both Rafe and Jack talking, before she even opened her eyes, just lay there and listened to them talk to each other, like she’d used to do once a long time ago, when sleeping between them and they woke up before she did.
They were openly discussing the Mate Bond, how they thought it was going to work between themselves. Then she heard Rafe state he loved Jack and was going to claim him regardless of what her decision was where they were concerned. Heard him state he was going to fight for her and never give up on her. It was really nice to hear that they still wanted her.
Opened her eyes to see them kissing, almost smiled at the tone of that kiss, so slow and lovingly, it was beautiful to watch. She wasn’t the only one watching them either and she knew it. Both
