She found Hannah suddenly in front of her, moved her eyes to her and looked right at the woman, saw her eyes go very wide, felt that her two sisters, Aayliah and Giannah were also with her, even though she didn’t see them, she could feel them in the room. Just kind of knew they were there, had come with Hannah.
Moved their eyes back to the wall, ‘everything inside this pack is not what it should be.’ she heard Jacks words echo inside her mind, recalled the way Rafe had looked at her the other morning, almost as if he’d not recognised her, saw on that wall that he’d lost his memory, that Melissa had used some sort of enchanted petals to make him forget everything.
Realised that on that morning, the way he had been looking at her, had been because he didn’t actually remember her
