I called. She raised her head from her food and glanced at me. "Hm?"
"I...I heard from Cassy. You know, about what happened? At school?"
"Oh..." She dropped her spoon and gulped down a glass of water.
"So..." I said hesitantly. "Did you remember anything? I mean...I'm not forcing you, I just wanna know if you remember anything."
"Okay. Um...I didn't really see anything clear. I saw some faces but their faces were blurry and their voices were muffled."
I hummed. Could she...could she be lying? She resumed eating but I kept my eyes on her. Waiting to catch the slightest change in expression that says she's lying but I caught nothing. I sighed in frustration and continued eating. I glanced at the wall clock.
