She stood in place for a moment, watching his ignorant smile as he was completely unaware of the heartbreak he was about to feel. While spying on him and giving a smile from afar, she realized she couldn’t. She couldn’t look him in the eye and tell him she didn’t want to be with him when that was the only thing in the entire world she wanted. But as she turned to leave, she knew the pain and questions he would have if the truth about her came out. He would never trust again, he would believe every woman was bought by his friends. She fell alone venturing forth to him as he looked to her with a smile of love and she had to avert hers before falling into pieces then and there.
