The woods seemed to come alive even more whenever I was in my wolf form. Our family pack was weaving gracefully through the ancient trees and up the mountains. As we ran in unison, I could feel the exhilaration in the air, the magic of our connection both as siblings and as wolves. Koda, my younger brother, dashed ahead of me, his midnight dark fur a big contrast against the green grass that was surrounding us. I couldn’t resist the challenge and picked up my own pace, my own jet-black fur blending seamlessly with the shadows of the trees.
Selene, our little sister, followed closely behind us, her presence a comforting presence in our heads.
