The group approached the bunk house. It was quiet. Sara hadn’t been here since before the confrontation with Richard a week ago. At that point there had still been several other people rooming in the bunkhouse. Now, nothing moved. No shuffling of feet. Nothing. She looked quizzically at Alex. “Where is everyone?” “Several decided to go back to their families. Most decided that they like this area and wished to stay. They have been given guest cabins until one can be built for them. A couple of the children had no family to go back to but didn’t want to live here in the bunkhouse any longer.
