Joy and wonder suffused Jackson. He slid his hand down and laid it over her stomach. Realizing that he could see his child in a different way, he mentally followed the mate bond in his mind until he was in Sara’s mind. He found his gorgeous liguar protectively surrounding a small bright light. He reverently reached for the light. He was amazed at the love that this small light produced in him already. It was different from what he felt for anyone else. But it was just as strong as what he felt for Sara and her feline.
Pulling back into himself, Jackson crushed Sara to him. “A baby. We made a perfect little cub!” His overjoyed laughter rang through the room. He rolled her under him, careful to not put too much weight on her stomach. “I love you, Sugar.”
