Getting out of Amy’s sanctuary was a lot simpler than getting in had been. She was going to have to face her trauma at some point but Sara was determined that Amy would do it on her own time and in her own way. So, she needed to find a way to get her back through the way she and her cat had come in without Amy having to witness what was going on around her. The last thing Sara wanted was for Amy to try and crawl back into her sanctuary. The chances of getting her out a second would probably be slim to none.
“Okay, here is what we are going to do. We are going to make you deaf and blind for the journey back. You aren’t ready to field the memories just yet. We are going to lead you out. Kind of like a crazy trust exercise.” Sara smiled playfully as she delivered the plan.
