Run! They needed to get away. Protect their loved ones. They could only do that if they were away from them. But they were chasing her. The liguar was fast but Jackson was right behind them. Where could they go? Could they lose the lions? She could pick up multiple treads behind her. What to do? The chaos in her mind was making it difficult to think.
In no time they found themselves at the river again. It was almost like the path was blazoned into her subconscious. Looking across the river, they didn't know if they could cross it. The rapids were still crazy fast. Trying to swim it would only get them further downstream. That wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing and animals tended to be natural swimmers, but she still hesitated. She didn't want to kill herself, just keep her family safe. T
