Sara was speechless for a moment. Then intense joy swept through her. Not only had Gray finally found the woman that could complete him, Amy had a strong, loyal, reliable mate that would do everything to protect and support her while she recovered. She could feel Gray tensing, waiting to see her reaction to him mating someone she considered family.
Tears stung her eyes before she could stop them. “I’m so happy you found your mate, Gray. I’m even happier that it’s Amy. She’s going to need you to get through this.”
His shoulders sagged with relief. He had really thought she’d be upset about this. “I feel the need to warn you, though. We don’t know what he did to her. It’s probably going to be a long road to recovery. I’m sorry about that. I know you have waited a long time for your mate.”
