Brandon’s pov
When Star came over to nana Ruby’s I could tell she was slightly nervous, especially when she saw 2 of my mums brothers also there with their mates and children. I guess nana made it sound like it would be a little bit more intimate, and she wouldn’t be meeting a third of the family. I am glad her parents were there to for support, so she felt a bit more comfortable.
My family were all lovely with her, just like when mum got together with dad and welcomed me with open arms. They were exactly the same with Star. It didn’t take her long to settle down and start to enjoy the evening.
It gave me a contented feeling seeing her happy and so at ease with my family, and if she comes with me to uncle Callum’s, then at least she will know several family members already s
