Arianna “You are so beautiful,” My mother says to me. Her green eyes sparkle with tears. “Oh, Mom,” I fall back into her arms to cry against her warm chest. “Don’t cry, my darling,” she rubs my back. I sniffle and pull away from her. She is not what I was expecting. She is standing outside completely alone and able to stand and speak. “You aren’t what I expected.” “You were expecting someone who couldn’t walk and talk, right?” She asks with mild sarcasm. “Yeah,” I say while looking down. “Come, we have a lot to talk about,” she clasps my hand and pulls me towards the cottage.
