Pearl's POV
"I know you are in there, Pearl. And I came for you!" Maxwell shouts from the other end and my breathe gets caught in my throat.
My eyes go wide as I look at the first person who could save me from this. Alpha Ryan. He is already staring at me and at this point, we both don't know what we are going to do next.
He stands before me in an instant and shields me from everyone. I gained a brother. But I am also in deep s**t right now.
"Come on! Open the damn gates so I can see you" I hear Maxwell's voice again and I now have a shiver running down my spine.
