I saw Livvy’s discomfort at Sam’s questions and ended the conversation as quickly as I could. This wasn’t the time nor the place to be chatting about all of that. We had literally just agreed to be a couple. Albeit a long distance one, I guess, as she seemed settled at her new job, and in her new home. Everything Daisy had told me definitely indicated that.
