I woke with a start as the alarm rang through the room. A warm arm made me jump once more as it stretched across me to switch off the ringing. Gio. I forgot he had climbed into bed with me after we had showered. Yet it had felt like the most natural thing in the world. Falling asleep in his arms felt so good, and it had taken no time at all for sleep to come. Which sadly meant morning had come only too soon.
“Morning beautiful.” Gio rested his head upon his elbow, looking down upon me, as I pried my sleepy eyes open.
“Mmmm.” Was the response I managed to muster up for him in my half asleep state, earning me a chuckle.
His hand slipped to my waist, beginning to gently tickle. “Aww, someone still sleepy?”
