I should have known better. I know that now. She wasn’t the sort of girl he was describing her as. Yet, my mind had been so overtaken by jealousy it had simply allowed itself to run away with the thought of everything that d**k had been describing, and once the thought was there within my head, it would not go away. It had been eating away at me. Making me feel so low. Incredibly jealous. Hating the fact she had allowed somebody else that close so soon after ending things with me. And I guess you could say, a little betrayed. Only now, hearing Sam’s words did I realize the hell she must have been going through. She knew the things being said about her, and she knew they weren’t true. She knew that Tyler was lying, but could do little to stop the rumors as they built within the office. So
