I hear Livvy literally giddy with excitement at the news I have just given her and feel full of excitement myself. Maybe now she will see why I was in such a hurry to get over here! I did not want to tell her this over the phone. This was news to tell her face to face. I am hoping that she will see that now. I had so desperately wanted to see her reaction, and as I had imagined, it had been truly wonderful!
“How?!” she squeals. “I don’t understand?” her voice is high-pitched with excitement, only making me smile more. “What happened?! Eli? There was so much to do!”
“Chill!” I told her with a laugh, thinking if she didn’t calm down she’d give herself a panic attack, not to mention the fact I would never get a word in!
