After a little morning distraction in the shower and the bedroom, we were washed, dressed and leaving the bedroom ready to check out and get Livvy to her friend’s house to allow her to get changed before spending the day with her friends and, no doubt, her brother too.
Livvy seemed surprisingly upbeat considering the fact later we would have to be leaving one another. I know I was dreading that part. I still had to talk to Noah about me wanting to head back home to be with Livvy, and I just hoped he was understanding. Eli too. That they didn’t see it as me walking out on the business. I still planned to do my part of the business, just from my office on the other side of the country, with the occasional visit for vital meetings….
